Darren and I recently had our housewarming party. We had around 35 of our friends stop by and check out our new place. I kept things simple with easy-to-prepare appetizers, such as bruschetta and this sangria. I felt so grateful to have so many of our friends share the celebration of our new home with us!
It took me awhile to muster up the strength to write this post about white sangria…because quite simply, it’ll be awhile before I have this again. It’s that good. (Or bad? Ha!) Needless to say, it’s super easy to drink. Before you know it, it’ll be gone. I made a huge batch with eight bottles of Pinot Grigio…luckily there were no leftovers!
Not pictured with the sangria are the cranberries I added. As a late minute idea, I froze a bag of cranberries and tossed them in to help keep it cold. Around 4:45am the sangria ran out so some friends reached in and ate the fruit…cranberries and all!
Ingredients:
-8 Bottles of White Wine
-4 Oranges, sliced
-2 Lemons, sliced
-2 Limes, sliced
-Cranberries, frozen
-2 Cups White Sugar
-1 Liter Club Soda
Mix all ingredients in a large pitcher or beverage jar. Add club soda right before serving. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Enjoy responsibly!

I love that you add cranberries, very seasonal. This looks great.

Sounds like you guys had a great time! Housewarming parties are my favorite. Can’t go wrong with sangria.

I prefer white wine so I like white sangria…but, I also picked white in case anyone spilled it on our new carpet, ha!
