hi guys welcome back to my channel so I know I look mad crazy right now just flawless skin and brows as always but it's all for a purpose as always it's all for a higher purpose this video is gonna be about baking so I just want to head it through on the basics the foundation the primer all that stuff you guys we're just I'm talking about baking baking is something I'm mat passionate about so I was actually very excited to do this video and I was on a live with you guys yesterday and this video idea came from one of you guys you inspired me thank you so much you know who you are I'm sure you do thank you baby girl you inspired this video and thank you for bringing this idea to mind because literally was driving home I was like why haven't I did an updated version of this this is such an important tip of the trade that I know is going to change so many lives because baking literally changed in my life it brought so much confidence into me wearing makeup as somebody who has oily skin and just cannot get away from battling the oil and not knowing what to do and not knowing how to literally set it and forget it baking gave that to me and we gotta thank the Queens for this one guys as I mentioned on the live baking is something that drag queen makeup artist started the flippin queens of it all really knew what they were doing when they started this and I am incredibly grateful for it and I'm very excited to show you how to do it because I've gotten pretty good at it and you guys see me do it all the time so number one is again get your foundation and all that stuff ready make shapes on my face I draw my war paint I'm gonna use my photo focus concealer a drugstore concealer a very affordable concealer my favorite concealer at the moment there's just not another concealer that compares to this as of now in my eyes I like to conceal literally drawing triangles under my eyes or better yet painting triangles under my eyes I just find that that helps my my face shape a little bit more and this actually assists in the baking process so just be aware that were ever you lay it you will have to apply powder so now that we're here we're gonna go ahead and blend all this out using a damp Beauty sponge Beauty Blender whatever you want to use make it damp guys get away like that one trey songz set and then you just blend blend blend blend blend blend make sure that it is clump free make sure that is lended to filth with whatever is left over that is access on your beauty sponge because trust me this absorbs product you guys there's excess product in here what I like to do is I like to take it right here on my jawline under my cheekbone on my chin and then just right here basically wherever you would grow your beard just put on your concealer beard is what I want to call it paint on your concealer beard now tip number one and baking if it has been put on as a liquid set it with a powder concealer as liquid set it with a powder but here we're going to bake it with a powder while your concealer is still a little damp not completely wet because this is actually a really wet concealer not while it's wet but while it's still damp move quickly here guys start setting it start baking it and the powder that I'm gonna use isn't the best powder out there No might it be the best powder for you no this is gonna be one of those moments where you really have to do your research understand your skin type understand your color understand the type of powder that you're looking for I have found my tried-and-true guys this is the Sasha Buttercup setting powder you guys know I love it it is oil controlling it is the perfect yellow tone it is the perfect consistency for baking at least in my opinion I love it shake your container up make sure you get a good good amount at the very top of the sifter because what you are going to do is you're gonna go ahead and blend out one more time just to make sure that no concealer got into those creases also what the beauty blender does is when you tap it again it kind of adds some moisture and moisture so what you need because the moisture is going to attract the powder onto the product so quickly once you blend it out your under eyes I know that nothing is in the creases because we don't want anything in the creases we are going to stick literally stick our Beauty Blender into the powder and from here we're going to stamp it under our eyes and follow the shape of basically the concealer you use before so you remember how we painted on our concealers now we are going to dab on or stamp on our powder and I mean stamp it on guys literally push the powder into your skin with the damp Beauty Blender the trick is really in the damp beauty blender because this will not work the same and I swear to you because I've tried it this will not work the same if the sponge isn't damn so I'm not saying wet guys not wet at all because if you were to going with a wet sponge and powder this will become a disaster the concealer as well as your beauty sponge it has to be a little damp that's what really helps this entire process stick and set I'm going to go ahead and grab a little bit more powder because what this also does is I'm not gonna lie is it adds some coverage which in return gives us nice flawless more or less under eyes which look really stunning guys just look at any Kardashian picture they do this a ton so once we have stamped on enough powder and like I said you guys stamp it on in the shape that you laid on the concealer literally do triangles and drag the powder up for a nice lifted bright awake face lift product up you guys this isn't just a tip for baking this is a tip for literally everything when you contour contour up when you put blush on blush up i shadow wings everything lifted so it creates a nice illusion of a lifted face even when your dead has tired fan that's why makeup is beautiful that's a makeup of such an art but that's also why makeup is kind of an illusion I'm not gonna lie it is just tips and tricks that enhance you and make you look awake even when you're not when you're really tired make it was amazing I love it we are not done here everywhere that we lay down that concealer we are going to lay down that powder again if you set it down as liquid it has to be set with powder repeat after me if you laid it down as liquid set it with a powder we put liquid concealer down our nose we are going to bake with the powder down our nose on our forehead on our chin on our jaw line go back into that powder literally pick up as much powder as you can and paint on that powder really really really paint it on and then stamping it this looks a little intimidating it is guys like with everything this takes practice but once you get it it really is like riding a bike and then what I like to do with any excess powder is I just like to stamp it onto my eyelids you guys because I don't like it to go to waste number one and we are gonna apply eyeshadow and again because we use a liquid concealer under our eyes we're gonna use a powder to set it and this is where you move on to do set a shadow this is where you move on to watch a television show or listen to a song because you want to let this powder sit the trick of baking just like you bake a cake and you have to leave it in there for X amount of minutes and wait for the product to be ready you are literally baking your face you have to let it cook let it bake let that powder sit for as long as you possibly can especially where you get the most oily as' you guys see this and all of my videos or I hope you guys have noticed this but I always take this off first because I don't really need any oil controlling factors here but because I dragged my concealer here because that actually helps to contour my face is to bring lightness here it defines my cheekbone because I brought concealer here I'm going to set it with the powder but I never leave this part on your too long because it does have pigment you guys and it can really leave a mark this isn't a white translucent powder so this isn't gonna give you flashback but it is gonna give you some definition that you don't want so this I'm actually gonna rub off now because it has been around two to three minutes that it has been on so I'm just gonna go ahead and grab a brush and as you can see guys I've said this before but move in small circular motions when removing your bake that gives you such an airbrush or less finish and that is what you want and as you can see there's so much definition to my cheekbone there's just more structure to my face I love baking so much it's incredible so small circular motions try to use a light hand on the brush don't go in with your hand like this and really push the product into your skin you already did that that part is said and done just wipe off the excess that hasn't been cooked into the skin because that's literally what has happened so now that we have left our baking on for quite a bit now here on our under our eyes and because we get really oily there and that's where we wanted our most control now we can go ahead and move it off now we can go ahead and fluff it off I'm going to use a different brush as my favorite brush to do this with this is my contour brush from Real Techniques I've never contoured with this brush but I love it to remove the bake from under my eyes that's perfect so again use a very little pressure you do that by holding the brush the furthest to the back end that you can if you were going to hold it here you'd have so much more control of it and you would apply so much more pressure we don't want that we want to look nice and airbrushed and like a porcelain baby doll so less pressure less control small circular motions just do this little number and slowly kick off all that excess powder as you've seen I like to move from the outside in so the furthest out to my face to here I just find that that works best for me and it just leaves these edges like a lot more crisp so you don't see where the baked even started or ended everything is just a flawless gradient a nice flawless canvas yet your makeup is set to fill now you guys are probably thinking but Gloria used a liquid foundation and you didn't set parts of your face you didn't bake parts of your face no I did not because not all of my face needs to be baked because I like a natural finish and I don't necessarily like looking too matte which is what baking your entire face with you also you lose a lot of definition by doing that because as you can see by just highlighting these areas it really already gave us a nice contoured shadow it gave us a very flawless airbrushed contour that looks so natural and we didn't even touch those areas of our skin but you guys are still right if it has been laid down as a cream set it with a powder what you're gonna do from here is you're gonna grab a big clean fluffy brush and with whatever the excess is on the cap of your setting powder you are going to kind of daintily stick your brush in here tap off the excess and lightly again hold the brush at the very end and you're going to lightly set your entire face in one fail swoop and one still in circular motions mind you still in circular motions but one fail quick little soup you're going to set your entire face especially where you didn't and set everything no you did not bake everything but you are nice and set everywhere another reason why you never skip this step not so much necessarily to set although that's a port but to ensure that I will not have any skipping products and that is how I bake and set my makeup like a mother effin boss I really hope you guys enjoyed I hope that was easy for you guys I tried to be as specific as could be I tried to really get every tip in there so I really hope
