Hello everyone! I am Aarti Madan, and you're welcome to my channel. Today we're going to make a quick dessert recipe: Meethi Seviyan (Sweet Vermicelli) It's a dessert that is loved by all. So let's get started with the recipe. For this recipe, you'll need fine vermicelli, ghee, sugar, khoya, cardamom powder, orange colour, raisins, cashews, almonds, and water. First, add water to a pan. Next, add sugar. Then add orange colour. You may use orange colour powder as well. Our liquid is ready now. Add Ghee to another pan. Heat the ghee and add dry fruits to it. You may use any dry fruits of your choice. I've taken cashews, almonds, and raisins. Roast for 2-3 mins till they become aromatic and get a golden brown colour. Once they're well roasted, remove them in a bowl. In the same pan, add vermicelli. If they're big in size, it's good to break them into small pieces. Cook on medium heat and stir continuously till it becomes aromatic and gets a golden brown colour. Do make this recipe and share with me on Instagram. Tag me using #AartiMadan. Do follow me as well for interesting food-related updates. The vermicelli is well roasted now. Now add the liquid mixture to it. Scrape the sides to add all the vermicelli into the liquid mixture. Close it with a lid and cook for 7-8 mins on medium heat. After 7-8 mins, the water has been absorbed completely. Vermicelli is well-cooked. Now add the roasted dry fruits. We'll also add Khoya/Mawa to this. Break Khoya into small pieces. If you like big chunks, you can break it into bigger pieces. Khoya is especially added during the Eid festival. Mix them all together. I forgot to add cardamom powder earlier, so I'll add it now. Mix it well and your Meethi/Kimami Seviyan is ready. Do make it and enjoy with your family!
