love you hi everyone welcome to another episode of cravings vlog today we're at the cottage and it's a beautiful bright and sunny day I'm Karin Ahmed and I'm with my best friend Sheila's an omni and she's going to show us how to make Tubba chicken well thanks Karen I'm delighted to share my recipe with you for Rob Tubba chicken well this is what I've done here I've taken 2 pounds of chicken thighs and I've cut them to 1 inch pieces as you can see and to this have added 1 and 1/2 TSP of tandoori masala I'm sure you're familiar with on the real mikado you can either use box tandoori masala or if you want you can go to cravings blog that's CA and there's a recipe there for your own tandoori paste but you can use the Box stuff as well okay this is God ginger garlic paste about a spoon and a half as I said different dory masala 1/2 lemon juice a little sprinkle of pepper and we're done I marinated it overnight so it's ready to go love you love you Shadia so Karen the Catawbas nice and hot what I'm doing now is taking a few tablespoons of any cooking oil and cooking oil you can use whatever canola or sunflower oil anything like that and the tava basically this is what I do when I'm outdoors this is a beautiful Sabah but I know not everybody has a contraption like this so at home can you do this in a frying pan maybe absolutely you can use you can use a skillet inflect so that that works perfect what I've done is for two pounds of chicken are basically cut three medium sized onions and I'm going to use half this while F right here and you can tell the house the oil is nice and hot so I've taken 50% of the onion so basically one and a half and I'm going to let this fry very well love you okay look the onions are fried and they're slightly Brown as you can see I don't want them really crisp so this will melt okay this is about three green chilies cut fine now you can do it you can actually marinate it with green chilies if you like but this time I'm doing a fried green chili so try the green chilies for a little bit then I'm going to throw in half the quantity of Bob cilantro that I have coriander out like two tablespoons or so about two tablespoons you're right I love fried corianders me to ask quarter teaspoon of ginger garlic paste love you love you and now goes in the marinated chicken oh look at that see Todd up y'all allow this to simmer let it go pond no just a sprinkle of a little turmeric powder this is our coriander powder and a little paprika chili powder chili powder dill Julie chai Oh turning a beautiful color yeah that's because of this unduly Matata the color is all because of the battery a little bit a pinch of salt as you can see just a little bit because they've already used it as a marinade love you love you these are really ripe tomatoes about three medium sized Tomatoes well finely cut yeah and allow that to just simmer and cook a little bit this I'm going to add a little more time so you you added some in the beginning yeah and it's fry and then you add more later yes and I will add at the finishing too I'm going to take the remainder of the onions all nice and sprinkle them so these will get a little cooked but not like the first batch right you're really cooking a few ingredients a couple of different ways yes same in the same prep yeah that's amazing now because we like different spices what I've done is I've brought some mob cinnamon powder and dub and clove powder this is clove powder okay so I'll just sprinkled it just a little bit you can see this there's not much there and cinnamon because I love cinnamon you can smell that clove and cinnamon is just like on the top of everything else Sheila looks so good and so colorful dill Julie Jay the turbo chicken has been cooking for about 20 minutes it looks and it smells amazing Sheila's just going to finish this off now with some coriander leaves that she's going to use as a garnish but feel free to use anything that you like you can use fried onions you can serve it with some lemon wedges or even some curry leaves so thank you so much for joining me on cravings blog please do visit us next time subscribe to my channel at youtube.com slash cravings blog Sheila thank you so much for sharing this beautiful recipe see you again take care bye love you love you ah
