Ingredients you’ll need for my Chicken Pot Pies:
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 3/4 chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey
2 Cans of veg all
Garlic salt for topping the crust

welcome back friends to another video thank you so much for coming join me and want to hang out with me in my kitchen and seeing what I'm cooking up this is a collaboration with so many amazing content creators awesome ladies this was brought on by cats my very very good friend Kat she put this out there for everyone we were thinking of doing a collaboration didn't know what we were gonna do so she brainstormed and came up with this idea so Kat you are in a rock and I love you this has become so big bigger than what we even imagined and I'm so thankful to all the ladies that decided to come in with us and what are we doing we're doing chicken we're doing a chicken inspiration it's gonna be a huge playlist of all different kinds of ladies doing all different kinds of chicken meals so if you are in a hankerin and the mood to eat some chicken and to find some new chicken recipes we got you covered so without any more rambling on I'm making chicken pot pie so if you want to see how I made my chicken pot pie thank you for watching so for the ingredients I will have a list down below in the description of all the measurements that you need but for this recipe you're going to need milk flour butter sweet Vidalia onions you can broth two cans of Vigil some pepper sea salt and dried thyme leaves will also need a package of two – ready to fill a deep dish pie crust I just get the Pillsbury I know Walmart has their brand I'm not sure h-e-b does but I always get the Pillsbury for this recipe I also have some chicken thighs in here boiling up I've just seasoned the water with some of this bhadiya Kat has gotten me hooked on this style the smell is absolutely amazing but I do have some chicken thighs in here now I only need two and a half cups of shredded chicken and so the remainder of the chicken that I have in here I'm just gonna freeze it for when I do some chicken and dumpling something of that nature but I do have some chicken boiling right now and once it's out I'll be shredding it and measuring out two and a half cups of the chicken okay so I have my chicken all done it's setting over on the side so I'm going to start in with the filling and the first thing you're gonna do is you're gonna melt your butter raise the temperature up just a tiny bit and now that the butter is all done I'm going to take my onion I'm not gonna use all this onion I'm actually gonna save a little bit of that and put it to the side and refrigerator for another recipe okay now that the onions have cooked down a little bit we're gonna go ahead and put some seasoning ends the cracked pepper I'm gonna go in with the sea salt and then with some time take out I'm just gonna make kind of like a face okay and then we're gonna go in with some milk and again everything will be the measurements will be listed down below just gonna go in a little bit at a time that was hot okay and then we're gonna start going in with the chicken broth okay we're just gonna let this keep going and you get thickened back up okay now that it's starting to kind of boil and it's gotten thicker it's been a good five minutes that I've been stirring this I'm gonna go ahead and dump in all of my veggies right here hey and then I'm going to get to my meat I'm just gonna lower this down it's beauty-full a little bit more okay now that I have my filling meal done I let it cool off a little bit more and get thickened up so it's nice and pretty and I'm ready to fill up my pies I already had one defrosted because this can make two pies so I'm just gonna go ahead and fill it up I've got my oven preheated at 425 I wish you could smell this I mean it smells like homemade lovin you okay and then you just take the other side because each of these packages came with two deep pie shells and so you carefully just kind of pull it away really simple and honestly if it tears apart it is what it is don't fret over something like that it's just spilt milk we're making a chicken pot pie okay I'm just gonna straighten this out as best as I can this is a chicken potpie see it already broke but that is just fine ain't nobody gonna care up in my house it's going on top to make the pie I told what you it you goo yeah what some pie there's all different kinds of pies baby like chicken this is gonna be chicken pot pie which one okay this one's going on a little bit easier I must have had that out a little bit too long it's not gonna be perfection but this is gonna be the easiest way the chicken krinkle this together to close it up okay now I'm going to just split a few holes in the top of my ugly pot pies they're still gonna be delicious I don't even care just it is what it is okay and then I forgot that I do this too I'm just gonna just slightly with the top of the pot pies go on a little bit with some garlic salt I mean just tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit just to give it a little bit extra something okay I'm gonna pop these in the oven for about 30 minutes at 425 and then we'll be back okay so what they are all done and perfect done I'm just gonna let them sit for a little bit longer let them cool down and get back to the inside to stiffen up a little bit more but they turned out perfect and yummy I have made this several several times not as ugly as what these came out to but I think that's my fault because I let them sit out on the counter without you know putting them back in the refrigerator while I was getting everything ready normally I do that and it's they're easier to manipulate but it is what it is it's okay it's still gonna taste the same and be just as delicious as the other ones just maybe not as pretty this choice so that is my chicken pot pie recipe please let me know down below if you're gonna try it what you do different for your homemade
