….
today I'm showing you how to put together this wonderful trifle perfect for any summer occasion that will impress your guests to start make your jelly to package instructions and place it in the fridge to partly step next slice your sponge and arrange it on the bottom of your dish and one layer up the sides you can either use shop-bought or watch how I make lemon Swiss roll here and then you can use any filling you would like feel free to experiment with different sponges if you juice Madeira angel food cake or even waffles sprinkle the sponge with some Cointreau to add that extra bit of flavor mix together your chosen fruits add a splash of Cointreau and pull them on top of your sponge grab your partly set jelly and cover all of the fruit with it making sure to spread all to the edges slice your strawberries long ways and stand them around your trifle dish on top of your sponge why not try serve these in a jar for the perfect individual portion next you want to pour in your custard and smooth it over with a spoon trying to push it into the gaps in between the strawberries so we can see it coming through you can buy shop bought custard or you can watch how to make it here don't forget to tag me on instagram as i love seeing all of your photos whip up some double cream and spread it over the top of your custard add some of the whipped cream to a piping bag for the large star nozzle and pipe around the edges to create a border finally fill the center with the remaining fruits pop it in the fridge to set for a few hours or overnight for best results so–that's trifle ready for any occasion easy the more video subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed the video give it a thumbs up and feel free to leave any requests in the comment box below

Hi – I have a friend coming over for dinner from Scotland and I would like to make a traditional dessert for this special occasion. Do you have a recipe for a Christmas trifle? Thanks in advance.

anyone who makes custard from scratch earns my respect. I don't know why anyone would want to use instant pudding… yuck.
