it's going on you guys our heroes welcome back to our channel this is your first time stopping by don't forget to go ahead and click on that subscribe button and the little notification about Nexus so that you will be notified every time I new video goes up which is every Monday Wednesday and sweet Saturday so in today's video we're gonna be making some deli meats vegan of course so we're gonna make in some vegans le slices and it's gonna be absolutely easy super super easy so delicious and you can use this for your ham and cheese sandwiches you can use this slice it up stir fry it and make it into a Philly cheese like you can use it for whatever you like so anyways let's get ready all right guys let's get started this recipe is gonna be incredibly easy to make okay so all you need is your bilenda alright so you're gonna use a blender you can also use a food processor but I feel like my blender works better because my food processor is no good alright so first we're gonna be adding in half of an onion into the blender we're also gonna be adding three garlic cloves two tablespoons of soy sauce 1/2 a cup of vegetable stock 1/4 of a cup of nutritional yeast I've also done this without nutritional yeast and it still turns out really good I know some of you guys don't like nutritional yeast or just can't have it I'm also adding one teaspoon of black ground pepper and two teaspoons of smoked paprika we're also adding in half a cup of firm or extra firm tofu I'm actually using extra firm here but you could also use just firm and all I did was kind of like crumbled it up just to get the measurement as close as I could and we're also adding in 3 tablespoons of what is it called tomato paste and this is the better better than bullion vegetable base you can use any brand vegetable base you could use like a little cube if you have but this is just gonna give it like a better depth of Lee just gonna make it a little more flavorful and we're gonna blend this all up and swear everything is nice and smooth all right so this is all nice and blended and it smells so so good if you guys taste it at this point it'll taste a little over seasoned or over spiced but that's perfectly fine that's what we want because we're gonna mix it with our vitally vital wheat gluten and that's gonna tone down the flavor a little bit so I have a cup and three fourths of vital wheat glue in all right and just pour in the mixture from the blender then mix this all up I'm just using a spatula now to mix it all up but once it becomes like a dough you can go ahead and knead it with your hands now that everything is nice and mixed together I'm gonna knead it with my hands and we're just gonna knead this for four to five minutes and if you guys want to skip the tofu no one to add tofu you could actually do 1/2 a cup of beans instead of half a cup of tofu and the texture is gonna be a bit different and I also think that the flavor is slightly more doughy when you make it with just the beans rather than with the tofu but that's just something that I'm just pointing out because I know some of you guys don't like to use to use a soy that much or you just might not have tofu available and yeah but you have beans so you can use that my refrigerator is making the weirdest sound I don't know if you can hear it but all of a sudden it just started making the strangest sound so I finished kneading this we're gonna place it onto some aluminum foil and I'm gonna just form it into like a log all right now that is form like a log I'm actually gonna place it on the far end of the aluminum foil so you can wrap it and ridges gonna wrap it up wrapping this up like it's like their little candy all the way to the end and when you reach the end just squeeze the ends just like you're wrapping a candy and then secure it inward and we're just gonna do the same thing with the other side next we're gonna place it into a preheated oven at 325 degrees for ninety minutes and we're gonna flip it halfway through so we're gonna flip it like that halfway through and I'm actually gonna place it straight onto my oven rack just because I feel like it cooks evenly that way and yeah I'll be so let's say you guys thank you so much for watching don't forget to give this video big ol thumbs up if you liked it also don't forget to tag me on instagram if you make this recipe or any of my other recipes i would love to see what you made and i would love to know who you think about it hashtag that yours hashtag let's get veggie and yeah i was house guys very soon bye guys
